Privacy Policy

AmalGo is a personal, independent app for getting around Agadir by bus. It is not operated by Agadir Mobilité or the bus operators. This policy explains what the app does with data.

No account, no tracking

AmalGo has no sign-up, no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking. I do not collect, sell or share personal data.

Location

If you allow it, your location is used on your device to show the nearest station, walking times and trips from "My location". It is never sent to a server of mine and is not stored.

To draw walking directions on the map, the app sends the start and end coordinates of the walk (for example your position and a station) to the public OpenStreetMap routing service at routing.openstreetmap.de, which returns the path in real time. No name, account or device identifier is sent with it.

You can turn location off at any time in iOS Settings; the app keeps working without it.

Settings stored on your device

Your language, theme and map preferences are saved locally on your phone. Deleting the app removes them.

Maps

Map tiles are loaded from OpenFreeMap (OpenStreetMap data). Like any website, their servers receive standard technical information such as your IP address when tiles are downloaded. AmalGo does not send them your location or any personal information.

Feedback emails

If you tap Feedback, your device opens the Mail app so you can write to me. I only receive what you choose to send, and use it only to reply and improve the app.

Children

AmalGo does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
